JTBC Confirmed King The Land Cast Including YoonA, Junho & More

Exciting news for K-drama fans! JTBC’s upcoming drama “King the Land” has gifted viewers with a glimpse into its production with photos from the script reading. The star-studded cast, which includes 2PM’s Lee Junho and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA, gathered for the reading, along with director Im Hyun Wook and writer Choi Rom.

The drama centers around the story of Gu Won (played by Lee Junho), a chaebol heir who despises fake smiles, and Cheon Sa Rang (played by YoonA), a woman who always wears a bright smile even when she doesn’t want to. Together, they embark on a quest to find true happiness.

The title of the drama, “King the Land,” refers to a VVIP business lounge that is a dream destination for hoteliers. As the story unfolds, viewers will get to experience the world of luxury hotels and the lives of those who work in them.

During the script reading, Lee Junho expressed his desire to create a set filled with laughter, which is in stark contrast to his character’s dislike of fake emotions. YoonA also shared her determination to work hard so that the laughter on set would continue throughout filming.

Other cast members who attended the script reading include Go Won Hee and Kim Ga Eun, who play two of the “Three Musketeers” of King Group, along with Ahn Se Ha, who portrays a vibrant character named Noh Sang Sik. Kim Jae Won rounds out the cast as the handsome flight attendant Lee Ro Woon, who will have a subtle romance with Go Won Hee’s character.
