Seventeen’s Jun and The8 will not attend Asia Artist Awards 2022 | Pledis Entertainment

Pledis Entertainment just released an official statement of Seventeen’s Jun and The8 not attending the Asia Artist Awards 2022.

On December 11 KST, Pledis Entertainment informed fans through their social media channels that the group Seventeen’s vocalist Jun and The8 will be unable to attend this year’s Asia Artist Awards in Japan due to individual schedules arranged in advance.

All the remaining 11 members will be actively taking part in the ‘2022 Asia Artist Awards.

The agency also asked Seventeen’s fandom ‘CARATfor their understanding and generosity for the same.

About The Band :

‘SEVENTEEN’ is a South Korean boy band that debuted on May 26, 2015, under Pledis Entertainment. The group consists of 13 members divided into 3 units.

Seventeen’s first debut song is “Adore U” which became the longest-charting K-pop album of 2016 in the U.S. It is the only rookie album listed on Billboard’s “10 Best K-Pop Albums of 2015” list. Seventeen recently performed at the LA3C event in Los Angeles on December 9, 2022. Their band name ‘Seventeen’ follows the unique idea of thirteen members divided into three units fused together in one group
